Our Aim

In the early part of 1996, we discussed as a church the benefits of setting out our aims in the form of a Mission Policy Statement. Putting into words the direction in which we consider we should be heading. It took a number weeks to develop, and by its very nature it will need to be reviewed and updated from time to time.

Our Mission Policy Statement says that we are here:-

"To provide a centre of Christian fellowship, which will encourage and nurture spiritual growth through worship, prayer and Bible study, where love and respect for one another can grow to form a base from which witness and service in the community can proceed. To teach and encourage the un-churched to become disciples of Jesus Christ by

(a) meeting them where they are, and
(b) making bridges they feel are safe to cross, into the local church."
