The Island's only cyber-cafe, opened its doors in March 1996, to provide an additional recreational facility. The cafe is in the basement of the Methodist Church, in recently refurbished premises. The Cafe provides an oppportunity for all to come and Surf the Net, send and receive E-Mail, and also for the unitiated to try out computer technology. Along with the technical bits, there is always the opportunity to sit down with a cup of coffee and enjoy a non-e-mail chat face to face! The cafe is staffed by volunteers and is open each Friday evening. Why not come and take a closer look at http://www.guernsey.net/~aldenycafe |
We meet each and every Sunday morning at 10:30
Following the service you are welcome to join us for a cup of coffee and a cake. If, and we hope when, you visit Alderney, you will find that the Islanders are renowned for their hospitality, so the after church chat is something of a must (if you can).
We meet each Thursday evening for Bible Study at various locations and each Thursday morning at 7:45am for prayer.
Network - Our ladies night is held on alternate Mondays.
A practical opportunity to acquire knowledge or skills, ranging from calligraphy, to catering. Newcomers are welcome.
Each Friday from 10:00 thoughout the summer. As our church premises are at the bottom of the main street, it makes an ideal place to rest your feet after a mornings shopping.
We run an Alpha course for those who are interested to find out a bit more about God and Christianity. If you live on the Island and want to know more please let us know.
The course is in a friendly atmosphere, where each week we watch a video by Rev Nicky Gumble, from Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, London. It is highly recommended, and a very easy way to hear about faith in a relaxed non-threatening environment.
If you would like details about other places in the UK where the course is running then contact Holy Trinity Church, Brompton (e-mail or site ad.)
In addition to the regular events, we join the other christian churches on the Island for services at Easter, Christmas, Alderney Week (Alderney's annual carnival in August), Rememberence Day, and others.

We also have various social events throughout the year, but you will have to be here to hear about them!
We have a small bookstall stocked with a range of Christian books and greeting cards.
We also have a free lending library, with books to borrow. This is open all day, every day, at the back of the church.
